Google has introduced Gemini 4 Argon, a powerful AI model designed for complex coding, research, enterprise work and cybersecurity. The model is built to handle long and complicated tasks with deeper reasoning and supports up to 1 million tokens, allowing it to work with large amounts of information at once.
Gemini 4 Argon is currently available only to a limited group of trusted cybersecurity experts through Google’s Fairwind Program. Google plans to expand access to developers, businesses and consumers after further testing and safety improvements.
At the same time, OpenAI is pushing AI agents further with Dots. These agents are designed to work continuously in the background, connect with more than 4,000 apps and integrations, and help users complete tasks without needing a new prompt every time. Dots can work through ChatGPT and communicate through platforms such as Slack and Microsoft Teams.
Together, Gemini 4 Argon and OpenAI’s Dots show where the AI industry is heading: from chatbots that simply answer questions toward AI agents that can perform longer, more complex tasks on behalf of users.
