The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is a major initiative of the Government of India aimed at developing skills among Indian youth in various technical and trade fields. The program operates under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, which was later amended in 1973 to strengthen apprenticeship training in the country.
Through this scheme, Volvo Group provides Graduate Apprenticeship opportunities that focus on practical learning and real industry exposure. The program offers On-the-Job Training (OJT), allowing candidates to gain hands-on experience while working in a professional environment.
The apprenticeship program has a duration of one year, during which graduates can enhance their technical knowledge, develop practical skills, and understand real workplace processes, helping them become more prepared for future career opportunities.
